I get it.
Sometimes, shit happens.
Your ability to control your emotion plays a significant role in improving your social confidence.
Being in a sour mood not only affects how you feel, but also the people around you.
What shows up in your mind also shows up in your body. That’s why it’s hard to be charismatic with a frown on your face.
If you want to know how to have an amazing day everyday, here are my best tips.
Meditate First Thing
I can’t think of a better way to start your day than having a moment of silence to be with yourself.
Meditating regularly allows you to control what goes in your head. It helps you live your life more intentionally because you can give whatever meaning you want to what’s happening around you.
You are not your thoughts. Meditating gives you the ability to create that separation so you can respond to your situation accordingly.
Have you ever been around someone who complains a lot?
It’s irritating isn’t it?
I know because I used to be one of those people. I definitely didn’t have a lot of friends back then.
Because I was always negative, I found more things to complain about. It was a vicious cycle.
Rather than complaining, shift your focus and look for things to be thankful for. You’ll realize that life is never as bad as you make it out to be.
Smile More Often
Your mind and body are interconnected. If you change one, the other follows.
Smiling can instantly improve your mood but it works better if you combine it with positive thoughts.
Fake it if you have to. You can always find something to smile about.
You are your number one asset.
Take care of your body and your body takes care of you.
Find something that you enjoy and stick to it. Whether it’s CrossFit, running or weight lifting, it doesn’t matter.
Whatever you choose, just get your body moving.
There’s a lot of things you’ll learn from working out too that can transfer over to other areas of your life. Consistency, patience and persistence are just a few.
Get More Sleep
It’s hard to be in a good mood if you’re sleep deprived.
Limit your caffeine intake later on during the day and get off your computer a few hours before you go to sleep.
Train yourself to go to bed at the same time every single day. You just feel better overall if you’re well-rested.
I hope you’ve enjoyed learning this as much as I’ve enjoyed writing this for you.
